In the lead-up to her highly anticipated debut album, Little Boots (aka Victoria Hesketh) is proud to announce the release of her new single “New In Town” on May 25th 2009.
Produced by Greg Kurstin (Lily Allen, Kylie Minogue),“New In Town” is pop at its purest. Edgy and beat-driven, the track is focused around the swelling and hooky chorus that exclaims ‘I want to take you out tonight. I want to make you feel alright. I don’t have a lot of money, but we’ll be fine. No, I don’t have a penny, but I’ll show you a real good time.”
As well as the brilliant title track, the release will also feature remixes by some of the hottest djs of the moment; watch this space for more LB news and upcoming tour details.
What the press had to say:
“There’s some debate as to what will replace the serried ranks of skinny-jean clad bands and earnest singer-songwriters in the publics affections…the smart money is on a resurgence in clever, unmanufactured electronic pop, with Little Boots at the forefront.” – The Guardian
“Little Boots is the most exciting dance-pop hope for 2009. She has re-imagined the lost art of choruses for the electro-disco generation” –NME
