Errors

ErrorsScotland has a knack for spawning good solid musical talent. New band Errors only bolster this theory.  They are three Glaswegians, described as making glitch-rock-electro-pop, spazzing out with laptops on stage.  It can't hurt that they are signed to Mogwai's label Rock Action, recording their EP, How Clean is Your Acid House in Mogwai's own Castle of Doom studio and championed by Stuart Braithwaite.  Apart from the occasional vocal sample, they're purely instrumental, suggestive of the indie-dance boom of the early noughties; listening to it is like remembering artists such as T Raumschiere, Black Strobe, Tiefschwartz, M83 back then, but tracks are laced with meloncholy guitar riffs and beautifully simple progressions.  They sound uncannily.... like Mogwai, even New Order or The Cure in places.
