About to release their debut on a major (Atlantic) , The Virgins opened for Patti Smith during Paris Fashion Week almost immediately as they formed. Since then they've had their music featured on Gossip Girl and have toured the US, with a few dates in the UK. The band are below 14th-street-art kid pedigree; the lead singer hailing from Tribeca (ooooh), clubbed at 14, dabbled in film and met fellow Virgin guitarist whilst modeling for Ryan McGinley.
